Recovery Options Made Easy, Inc., is a not-for-profit supported housing and community support services agency. As a peer-run organization, Recovery Options was developed and is operated by those who have lived through the recovery process. We’ve tailored our programs and services to directly benefit participants in mental health services.
ROME is committed to decreasing stigma by increasing awareness of mental health and substance use through information, education, and advocacy. Our efforts are focused on participants, family members, community members, and mental health professionals in several counties across New York.
Composed of 95% peers, Recovery Options Made Easy has one main office and seven satellite locations. Recovery Options coordinates with several federal, New York State, and county recovery and peer initiatives. We have become nationally recognized for the quality and effectiveness of our peer services and how we operate our peer-run agency. We provide services and supports that assist individuals in meeting their self-identified needs, thus accessing opportunities that lead to the most independent lifestyle of their choosing. Through education and advocacy, individuals are empowered to learn about and take advantage of the choices and opportunities available to them.
Our Guiding Principles
Recovery Options Made Easy programs and services help individuals with a mental health issue or substance use disorder grow and move forward in life with person-centric and trauma-informed advocacy. The success of these programs are based on strong principles that—as peers—we’ve personally used in our own recoveries. Each service of Recovery Options has these mission-critical pillars of continual recovery woven throughout.
