The position of Housing Specialist I assesses, refers and links individuals with mental illness to services including but not limited to housing, treatment, and community services. With a working knowledge of the resources in the community to meet the consumer's needs, the Housing Specialist I assist in providing housing support services to persons receiving government rental stipends in all Recovery Options programs. This may include but is not limited to assisting in finding and securing housing in the consumer's community of choice and assisting the consumer in maintaining the housing.

The Crisis Residence Coordinator will provide oversight for operations of the multiple ROME Crisis Residences. The Respite Crisis Clinician provides direct clinical support to individuals receiving services in ROME Crisis Residence programs. The clinician conducts intake screenings, comprehensive assessments, clinical assessments, risk evaluations, safety planning, and provides brief counseling and crisis stabilization services to support participants during their stay.

The Respite Crisis Clinician works collaboratively with program staff, peer specialists, and community providers to promote stabilization, recovery-oriented care, and successful transition back into the community. This position requires one of the following licenses: LMHC, LMHC-P, LMHC-D, LCSW or LMSW.

This position reports to the Crisis Residence Coordinator or Director of Site-Based Crisis Programs. Travel between program locations within Western New York may be required.

PSR Services in our CFTSS Program are designed to restore, rehabilitate and support an child's/youth's developmentally appropriate functioning as necessary for the integration of the child/youth as an active and productive member of their family and community with the goal of achieving minimal on-going professional intervention. Services assist with implementing interventions on a treatment plan to compensate for, or eliminate, functional deficits and interpersonal and/or behavioral health barriers associated with a child/youth's behavioral health needs. Activities are hands on and task oriented, intended to achieve the identified goals or objectives as set forth in the child/youth's individualized treatment plan.

Family Peer Support Services (FPSS) for our CFTSS Program are an array of formal and informal activities and supports provided to families caring for/raising a child who is experiencing social, emotional, mental, developmental, substance use, and/or behavioral challenges in their home, school, placement, and/or community. FPSS provide a structured, strength-based relationship between a Family Peer Advocate (FPA) and the parent/family member/caregiver for the benefit of the child/youth. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner. The FPA must be a New York State Credentialed Family Peer Advocate (FPA) or a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate with a Family Specialty (CRPA-F).

JOB SUMMARY

The Peer Bridger role in the CARES Program, engages individuals who are completing their sentences and transitioning from incarceration to the community. During re-entry, peer support provides assistance with treatment planning and system navigation (accessing housing, employment, benefits, etc.). When begun prior to release, peer support activities include preparing individuals in jails and prisons to develop plans and identify resources to ensure uninterrupted treatment and connection with a recovery community. Full Time schedule must be flexible and will work Monday through Friday on an 8:00 am to 5 p.m. schedule. 40 hour work week.


The INSET Family Liaison offers peer support to adults who may have substantial mental health support needs that put them at risk of homelessness, hospitalization, involuntary treatment, or other adversity. The Family Liaison supports participants to connect or reconnect with family, chosen family, and other natural supports, with the participant's consent, to assist in meeting their goals. The Family Liaison will offer services such as advocacy, connecting families with services, conflict resolution, psychoeducation, and individualized support through a framework that supports shared decision-making, collaboration, trauma-informed care, and cultural humility/respect. The schedule for this part-time role is flexible within limits and will be negotiated at the time of hire. Estimated weekly hours are between 16 and 30 hours per week, depending on negotiated schedule and program needs.
